It was a fab meal! We enjoyed the cosy setting, dinner was piping hot and fresh! I had a fish special that day- seriously yum! But the fillet sadly had enormous amounts of bones in it, which did spoil it slightly. None the less I would recommend this restaurant for great choices and beautiful food!

What a wonderful meal this was - gambas pil pil, risotto, roast pork belly (truly amazing), lamb roast and sirloin steak, sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble. But it wasn't just the food that was standout - the ambience was terrific - busy, fun but never overwhelming. A large open space with an impressive kitchen open to view, the interaction between the chefs, at the pass and among the waitresses was as positive as I have ever seen. Add to that a terrific attitude to the customers at the tables, and I genuinely cannot think what they could have done to make this Sunday lunch any better. Looking forward to venturing south again!

Read MoreWhat a great place. It is about time Olney got a superb restaurant like this. The atmosphere was buzzing the menu was broad and all of it looked wonderful. We were a large group of 13 and sat in a side room. The cocktails were delicious. All courses were wonderful. We had a wonderful time. I had white bait as an appetizer which was wonderful and the pork schnitzel was awesome. Prices were good too!

From my initial booking to the evening celebration it was faultless.
The staff on the night were very professional but also very friendly and approachable. One of the best evenings for a very long time.....thank you all at the Cherry Tree. We will most certainly be back.
